The creative genius Parhelia makes a welcome return to Omni Music with a new EP of Antarctic inspired ambient drum and bass. Fjordvann sets the scene with pads that float effortlessly like icebergs as beats set sail across frozen seas. The EP continues with Antartica Explorations where chilled guitar and deep bass emerge out of the snowy landscape propelled forward by crisp beats and thunderous synths before Celsius-7 ups the pace with fluttering breakbeats, soaring strings and ice-breaking bass stabs. The EP ends on the serene Permafrost where a blizzard of pads engulf the listener and take them on a long poetic journey.
