The first Dave Clarke double LP is fantastic. There was some good electro on Nature some years back - Mat 101 for example. What I really like is 84bpm electro business. Great for mixing with jungle.
Aux 88 and Dynamix II are the dogs danglers
Jackal and Hyde is Dyn. 2 under a pseudonym, just missed them in london (moved that day =( ) 808s go boom! Paradigm X Wrote:Aux 88 and Dynamix II are the dogs danglers Oh yeah - if you ever see the Dynamix 2 compilation on Rephlex - buy it instantly.
Yeah seems to be a resurgence in the 'proper' electro sound. one of my mates is bang into it
theres an outfit called ghost in the machine who are well heavy - hard to find on myspace tho... droid Wrote:What I really like is 84bpm electro business. Great for mixing with jungle.like what for example?
Mat 101, Solvent, Two lone Swordsmen (as Rotters Golf Club) and loads of other artists and labels. Usually its a tune buried on the B side of standard electro 12s or hidden somewhere on an LP...
drexciya <3
check duplex stuff on clone, it at least was a consistent label pushing on leftfield mnml electro a few years ago when i was still at least a bit on track with the genre. i-f's superman live is maybe the rawest braintearing shit that electro has to offer, paid silly money for this: http://www.discogs.com/release/35915

Listening to 'Silicon Scally - Interflection' now.
New-romantics PartII
