derek walmsley replied today saying he'll check 'em out
Interesting selection Mick.

One or two I haven't heard too, need to check those out.
nice! yes Back From Eternity is def one of my favs of all time

thinktank, there is name I haven't thought of in a while

always rated this one as a "secret weapon" Space Robotman

Cool list Xyxthumbs
Thanks for checking guys. As for the selections otherwise, I have a strong gravitation towards 2005/2006, a formative time when I was into d'n'b. There was a lot of crossover happening with techstep and drumfunk flavours, which led to some pretty hybridised, unique music.
Jiva was another, but I find his tracks work best as a sequenced journey, so lots of competition with my favourite era.
Two that almost made the list were Eschaton for something on "Drum & Space 2" (couldn't decide) and Theory & Dr. Know - Krakatoa (13 Music, 2005), (no YouTube link).

Back From Eternity was such a beautiful track, but I'm so sick of the "ooh let's watch as I put the record on the turntable youtube videos."
Yeah me too. The only reason I posted that link over another YouTube of the track is it had more views, so wanted to add to the grand total.

Hahaha

"Back From Eternity" is one of those timeless ones, isn't it ?!

Lovesmilie
The Thinktank for me tops them all, but #1, #7, #8, #12, #14, and #17 come close (they aren't in order of favourite).
I reckon more people should listen to these tunes Smile
I shall go through them all forthwith Smile
:kissandhug:

Would like to know what you think of the Thinktank track first, seeing as you likely know most of the others. Although, it's a good sequential order from #1-20.
If I could've found this ages ago on YouTube this would've been in there too. Much better than Noisia's rollers or Misanthrop.

Thought I'd give this a bump as I haven't heard anything new in 2014 that touches this selection.
I should use this thread to list/comment on specifically inventive jungle tracks that are exciting and fresh.

1. Theory - Every Moment Is Precious (Rupture LDN)
2. Eschaton & Enjoy - The Repose (Omni)
3. Mizeyesis - Spring Hope (Unreleased)
4. Ricky Force - Keep On (36 Hertz)
5. SpeaK - Dreams (with female vocalist)
I found this from the archives in the today, I... thread posts I do as well, I think it was in the SB81 Metalheadz based mix:

Scan One - Sahkil

Ah, Dave Trax is online, just reminded me about another tune I want:

DJ Trax & Naibu - Logan's Theme

"'89 'Till Infinity" is one of my sleeper faves of the year too. Great gym music Grin
Check this all - I RT it the other week and just checked it out - Beat Spacek (Steve Spacek and a Ninja Tune artist) on the classic 90s label, releasing dnb again:

This sounds pretty fresh too, on the same stream, trap and dubstep influenced for sure, but no screechy shit:

Aazar - Run Dat

Andy C's take on a top 10 for the last decade looks like this:

5 tunes I properly know in there, and 5 I a like, believe it or not. Smile
Bump for music exposure.
