I've found some Feldman pieces
or part 1 of this by Laurence Crane
Maybe sparse, but mostly a repetition of the same note or chord.

Okay, you can ask me. :P
Stars Of The Lid - And Their Refinement Of The Decline (Full Album)

Kyle Bobby Dunn - Diamond Cove (Bring Me The Head Of Kyle Bobby Dunn LP, Low Point, 2011)
It's a start. Looking for even fewer notes or more space. Like if the first 50 seconds of Greg Haines - Snow Airport were looped for several minutes, but played by a human and not synthetically looped. That's what I'm on the hunt for.
try Pauline Oliveros or Eliane Radigue
Statto Wrote:Eliane Radigue
Naphta posted a video of Eliane Radigue on June 2nd, which was the first I had heard of her.
Eliane Radigue - french
Pauline Oliveros - american
Daphne Oram - british
and all composing from the 50s on.
Fill yer boots with some Phill Niblock - Touch Strings
Eleh does some really bassy, droney stuff
More pop / noise, less classical:
I would say that fits the theme (esp if it were much much longer).
This doesn't quite fit but adding because of the immense space between notes.
