I've found some Feldman pieces

or part 1 of this by Laurence Crane

Maybe sparse, but mostly a repetition of the same note or chord.

Mutley-ani1?

Okay, you can ask me. :P

Stars Of The Lid - And Their Refinement Of The Decline (Full Album)

Not available anymore as a CD (sold out), but is on http://www.emusic.com as a legal purchase download for less than £8.
Kyle Bobby Dunn - Diamond Cove (Bring Me The Head Of Kyle Bobby Dunn LP, Low Point, 2011)

Chin It's a start. Looking for even fewer notes or more space. Like if the first 50 seconds of Greg Haines - Snow Airport were looped for several minutes, but played by a human and not synthetically looped. That's what I'm on the hunt for.

try Pauline Oliveros or Eliane Radigue
Statto Wrote:Eliane Radigue

Naphta posted a video of Eliane Radigue on June 2nd, which was the first I had heard of her.

Eliane Radigue - french
Pauline Oliveros - american
Daphne Oram - british

and all composing from the 50s on.
You want ultra minimal? Try some Paul Bradley then.

I found something very close to what I was looking for through Another Timbre:

Sparse piano carried by manipulated noise.

More pop / noise, less classical:
I would say that fits the theme (esp if it were much much longer). Xyxthumbs
This doesn't quite fit but adding because of the immense space between notes.

From Wire - this is fucking fantastic
