Andy had plans to write this himself, to tell you all some day what he was going through. Some of you he told, but lots of you he just wanted to be normal with. 

Our lovely Andy passed away peacefully on 23rd Jan having battled cancer for over 18 months. He did so with such immense courage and positivity and was an inspiration to those he met along his journey. 

There will be a service taking place in the Sacred Heart church in Wimbledon (SW19 4LU) on Feb 7th at 1.20pm. Please join us to celebrate this great guy and remember how special he was to so many of us.

It is with sadness that I post this tragic news on here, Andy Lawrence aka Andy Skopes has passed away.

Many of us on here will have met him, talked to him and played his tunes over the years.
I had talked to him numerous times over the years at a number of events, such as Technicality, and he was always a very friendly, polite person, and of course a talented dnb producer and dj too.

One of Andy's last releases was on Metalheadz - The accolade for a true Junglist. R.I.P.

Respects.   I am a fan of his tunes.  

Very sad news. I heard his tunes first time in 2006-7, then I started to follow his music and mixes - in 2008 I downlowaded his Technicality set from old Inperspective records site which contained some marvellous unknown tune, which few years later appeared to be Crime Scene - my favourite tune produced by Andy Skopes.

This is very sad news indeed. Andy was such a nice person whom wrote some great music. My thoughts are with his loved ones during this trying time.
