Do ye? And one channel or two?
I tend to go for non-panned, one channel per break (sometimes doubling up because of limited availability of compressers...), but I'd be curious to hear of what others of yez do...
panning or panned?
the use of panned beats in Jazz or Rock productions can sound amazing!!
actually i did a track on Southern Session called Insomnia and that has panning beats!!!
subtle but panning none-the-less...........
on a similar note, you may want to try separating kick, snare and perc to separate channels rather than one channel per break.....you'll find both approaches have benefit at different times....
big up the sneaky lunch time at BT cru
yeah man, never put kicks and snares down the same channel.......
they need isolation!!
Freaky - but makes sense insofar as they would have been originally have been recorded separately.......!
I'll give YOU headphones sunshine!
OK then - cut it out of that mix I gave you and GIVE IT BACK!!!!!
AND.......
Dillinja - Heavenly Bass!!!
