SC triple pack postage prices

27 Replies, 10941 Views

uk first class £2.71
uk second class £2.12
(recorded — add £0.66)

europe airmail £4.29
world airmail £7.45
world surface £3.66

Chin
should i add the paypal surcharge for people who want to pay this way?

i'm thinking yes for uk
but maybe not for overseas since postage is already quite hefty

dunno, just make sure you won't make any loss.
with paypal surcharges the prices for one EP are:

UK first class — £13.36
UK second class — £12.75
(recorded — add £0.68 )

Europe airmail — £15.00
World airmail — £18.27
World surface — £14.35

that makes the World airmail price rather a lot
it's no cheaper than it would be in a shop in their own country Icon_sad
so what's wrong with selling them for the following prices (ppd):

uk - £14
yurp & world surface - £16
world - £19

take a quid off each maybe

Chin
you would lose money on uk first class and world airmail.
of course you can make a mixed calculation based on the country of the people who have registered so far.
true Oops
i edited my post. Wink

add a quid maybe?

15 is a round price for 3vinyl including postage and you will have trips to the post office etc etc so it will cover travelling expenses and general costs Smile

heh.. reminds me off last year when i had to walk to the post office every other day to send some Tshirts Teef

are these prices "final" or should i wait with paypalling the money?

final for now Smile
k... money sent Wink

was struggling with my paypal account data.. forgot which e-mail/password combination Oops
new plan...

i'm going to set up another bank account tomorrow
then set up another paypal account based on this account
and leave it as a personal account (rather than my current premier account)
which will mean that only debit and credit card payments will be hit with a surcharge

sounds like a plan

but... i tried to do the same for jt... and without linking the paypal account to a credit card, the account would be very limited (max amount of money that can enter/leave)... and linking it with the same credit card as the premier account wasnt allowed
Icon_sad
any ideas?

hmmm Baffled

perhaps I'll have to get another credit card as well Smile
i don't understand what the purpose of a second account would be. keep it simple for yourself, statto. Smile

on a personal paypal account you can receive money without charge Smile
on a premier / business account paypal take a cut Grumble
yea.. definitely makes a big difference.. at jt we lose about 5.5% due to paypal charges

but that's not worth the hassle/money of getting another credit card Wink
josh-hill Wrote:but that's not worth the hassle/money of getting another credit card Wink

perhaps you're right Chin
tell me when to send the loot...eager to support!!

another option is to do it via someone else's personal account (gotta trust that person tho Wink)
i do that with the sc contribution to server costs (that goes via arnie's personal account)... but that's only a few transactions per year
btw, i'm not 100% sure if a credit card is required in the uk as well for an (unlimited) personal paypal account
good idea, josh.
Stupid Question ALert!!! Oops

Can I use a credit card to pay for this?

I told you it was a stupid question. . .if I could just remenber how I made the Cov Ops sub thingy work for me. . .I think I did that one off their website. . .me and modern technology just don't fit. Baffled
