After growing up on the outskirts of North London and developing a love for Detroit House music and breakbeats, Tayla quickly formed a friendship with another local dj, LTJ Bukem and around 1990 moved into the Drum And Bass scene after laggin some DJing in Ibiza while on a Summer holiday! He returned home wanting to become a DJ.
After flooding all the promoters with mix tapes, he was Picked up by Murray from Dreamscape and then Chris and Jay from World Dance to name a few. Then in 1992 Bukem formed Good Looking Records and he found a natural home for the music he loved and wanted to produce. After various collaborations with "Photek and "PFM" and DJing on the "Logical Progression" tours around England and the World, he moved further into the scene.
After some time out due to personal reasons he is back producing again with Furney, who he met through a good friend, MC Conrad. Various releases are scheduled for Good Looking and Creative Source, so its now time for the revival of a brilliant label and picking up where he left off....
