on a kinda fast and need fish and chips now!!!

Has anyone here ever fasted? I'm on a kind of fast just drinkin water and eatin fruit - doin it for a load of reasons. The thing is its friday, and all I want is my fish and chips! Just wonderin if anyone here has done anything like that and if there is some sort of technique to stay away from the food - its not that I'm hungry, just craving the taste!

it seems to have gone a bit - its weird how hunger and taste are so similar - im not hungry but i have a strong need to taste food. I'm not smokin or drinkin today either - but it seems to be pretty cool
