MetaLX Wrote:Dj Trax - This One. In a mix I was listening to, forgot how good a tune that was.

She was listening to "White Horizon", 15 MOF Pt. 16 in light of my post on a session. I played it in there Kisskiss

Now do me a favour like a good father-in-law or something. Hahaha

Gonna listen to this tomorrow morning: Smutlee - Fabric Live promo mix:

Maybe this evening then. Wasn't in the mindset for electronica earlier in the day.

Bvdub & Loscil - Erebus

Probably my fave Glacial Movements CD. Mick Harris' (Scorn) "Like A Slow River" I should really play again too as I still have access to it on my bookshelf.
I played "Like A Slow River" by Lull 4 times last night. Much less intrusive than I remember it being 4 years ago.

Bat For Lashes - All Your Gold - Live At Bestival

Stattzi won't like it for obvious reasons, but her performance is infectious energetically.
Amon Tobin - Supermodified
Good album.

Arvo Part - Alina

I had pretty much the entire Part catalogue on CD - including my favourite two Part tracks, "The Beatitudes" and "Silentium", but they're no longer in my immediate grasp.
Ace Bushy Striptease CD

I think this is the first time I've actually listened to it. I've had it 5 years and requested it after reviewing their gig in Oxford. It's sort of indie punk, without the lameness.

It's Pärt's birthday today Smile
Wow, I picked that one well then! I can't remember when he was born, or when he died.
He's pretty much alive, 79 today.
Wow, I thought he was older. Thanks for the info.

Will listen later. Looking forward to the BJ Nilsen & Alan Courtis recording on Mego in September too.

although... the CD version (and youtube version) is the wrong way round, in my opinion. I think it's much better with the black side first (starting with She's Lost Control, ending with I Remember Nothing) and the white side second (starting with Disorder, ending with New Dawn Fades)
