I'm currently searching for Dj Producer hip hop related interviews I saw a few weeks back somewhere.
There's this too. .. Hard times call for extreme measures ....29.03.20 - 1 week into Covid-19 Lockdown -- Every Dj on the planet is now streaming on the internet ..... The wall of noise being emitted from every zero & one is now at saturation levels The only cure is an ambient antidote ... I think it important to show all sides of our natures in these ridiclous times ..... where i am usually the causer of hangovers, i now bring a cure. Enjoy.
Fangarm (Norway)
seemingly more of an industrial techno producer. I like the grit, atmos and industrial style detailed samples used in "Tetja V Kosmose". Gives a lot more body to the tunes. The dark melodic builds are great. Well done! https://fangarm.bandcamp.com/album/dubuha
Om Unit once again.
Dub, 303's, a style & experience that has been around & done in many, many guises since day. Maybe lower bpm, acid is a sound I may get slightly nostalgic for, if it is done well. Plastikman was dubby in delivery, perhaps that's a reference I may adhere to for impact this far on. Or bits of Richard H. Kirk here and there. Regardless, the appeal is in the simplicity. You can do a lot with melody with dub, a very versatile medium no doubt. The melodic simplicity exists within the Om Unit tunes. I think it is great. More please? https://omunit.bandcamp.com/album/acid-dub-studies-lp (19th June 2022, 03:39)+ToRMeNT+ Wrote: Om Unit once again. I'd say that "Bristol Theme" is my favourite track from this album. ![]() https://www.discogs.com/label/215-Driftwood Driftwood was a small but wonderful label which has released some very nice dubby deep-house tracks. The label is owned by Terry Lee Brown Jr. and The Timewriter, who have produced most of the label's releases under various aliases. Notable jems are Da Kine's 'Samoa', Drainpipe's 'New Life', and Jeremy's 'So Peaceful'. The last release (010) from Jeremy is a timeless release, limited to only 100 copies. This is an extended Minimal Dub Techno mix with some songs added to the mix of Eric Cloutier. Catching up the Salz catalogue. YES. Good stuff. Previous Telrae mix series are great too!
