From #358, I'm going for the new age compilation in The Boomerang

Nice Demdike Stare interview by Joseph Stannard, but I don't know if I'll be buying any of their records; I found what I sampled 4 years ago pretty disconcerting
They are - but it's good disconcerting.

Still reading. On the 2013 Rewind. (Not reading in any order). The Knife - Shaking The Habitual, no. 10 on their list is good stuff.
Long long interview with Jandek this month. I know literally none of his stuff. Checking it out on youtube, seems pretty cool but presumably the good stuff's also rare as hen's teeth...
Not got this month's issue from my mate yet.
and now I have two issues to go through
well, this is going to take some beating:
various - The Orchestra of Futurist Noise Intoners (Sub Rosa) http://www.subrosa.net/en/catalogue/soun...oners.html
How do you do it Statto? That release is way into #360; I only just got to it the other day.
I have the whole Actress issue to read and right then the new one will be on my doorstep Muttley Wrote:I have the whole Actress issue to read and right then the new one will be on my doorstep so do I apart from the second part of the Jandek interview anyway; I read those both together
Really; do you read super fast or something?
I'm listening to this after reading my local Nightshift magazine:

so issue #360
Jackson C. Frank - Jackson C. Frank (Earth) http://www.juno.co.uk/products/jackson-c...515854-01/ Bryn Harrison - Vessels (Another Timbre) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F7c_3RJOqWY Kim Myhr - All Your Limbs Singing (Sofa) http://www.amazon.co.uk/All-your-limbs-s...B00ILWCDV8 Tatsuya Nakatani - Present Presence (Kobo) http://www.squidco.com/miva/merchant.mvc...Code=18211 Planningtorock - All Love's Legal http://www.juno.co.uk/products/planningt...517427-01/ various - The Orchestra of Futurist Noise Intoners (Sub Rosa) http://www.amazon.co.uk/Orchestra-Futuri...B00GOU8Y4E I've already got the Bryn Harrison and I ordered the Sub Rosa yesterday. Guess it's between those two then.
as for #361, this one already looks great:
various - From Another World: A Tribute to Bob Dylan (Buda Musique) http://www.amazon.co.uk/From-Another-Wor...B00G58EBNS "versions" of Bob Dylan songs by traditional musicians around the world
How did you get on reading #361 Jon? I thought the Mockffice Ambience chart was pretty funny. I'm waiting for my eMusic sub to renew before I interrogate the reviews section at length.
still reading it — I haven't really gotten on to the reviews yet
and now there's another issue as well
so...
explain The Wire. I know its always been around. I've never read an issue, even when i was full on into magazines & stuff. they review Melt Banana, Sub Rosa stuff, & Zed Bias.. ok. what else? does The Wire have street cred or what? heh. just curious.
it's a window into anything out of the ordinary musically worldwide, mostly stuff I've never heard of
+ToRMeNT+ Wrote:does The Wire have street cred or what? I very much doubt that — but it does have currency in the fringe musical worlds it covers
falling behind with this
