This arrived in the post the other day, some really good stuff!

^^ cool, checked out the release on the soundcloud. diggin a couple of the tunes.

this is one of the oldest pieces of dance music vinyl i own, specifically when I was first randomly buying records just to have, and to listen to. before i ever thought of getting into vinyl for djing purposes at all, that would come a little bit later after i was buying bits of pieces of wax just to bump on the shitty all in one turntable, cassette, cd player home stereos they used to sell . lol.

i've parted ways with tons of music within the past 21 + years of learning about dance music as a kid, and there's still a few formative plates that i've hung on to, and still own to this day.

this is one of them.

i initially found this record used, full on into my techno black crack addiction at the time.

another early piece of wax i still own. I'd never get rid of this.


1993 - UTU aka. Ken Ishii - Plus 8 Records - i've always assumed this is Ken Ishii's debut release, if not the R&S tunes.

some abstract stuff, totally. raw. melodic. it was so different from what i was hearing. changed perceptions for me, no joke.
