I was listening to Wiki all afternoon. It has been at least 12 years since his stuff started being posted about. The Ratking stuff, considering the NYC era, it couldn't be farther from the usual delivery that other cats from the era were doing. NOTHING commercial about it, not rapping about lean, the furthest from typical club music imagery, no local gang references, just outsider, wondering the streets, apartment block, hardcore punk, skyscraper existence. Minor Threat reference in the "Comic" intro too.
More recent Wiki joints, continue the overall delivery. Once again, outsider, street roaming themes. The journey has been great to delve into.
We live in a post-Outkast society.
