Bruce Springsteen - The River (LP)
Isaac Hayes - Joy (LP)
Frightwig - We Need To Talk... (LP)
Queen Latifah - The Best Of Queen Latifah (CD)

I caught the Dying Fetus, Full of Hell, Kruelty, & 200 Stab Wounds show this past week.

Full of Hell ... YES. Very much my thing. I've been a fan for a bit. Grindcore, power noise & such. Dying Fetus has a multi-generational fanbase now, so it was interesting to see a band like Full of Hell doing their thing for said audiences. An experience.

Kruelty, from Japan.

Yes!

Brendan Canty is an American musician, composer, producer and filmmaker, best known as the drummer for the band Fugazi. He’s played in DC punk bands Rites of Spring, Deadline, One Last Wish and more. Since 2004 he has contributed score to films, and direct concert films such as Water on the Road with Eddie Vedder and Burn to Shine.

In this video I take you into Brendan’s house in Washington DC to have a conversation about his illustrious career, and reflect on his many achievements.

Huge thanks to Brendan for inviting me into his home.

^^ I like all their releases thus far. Didn't catch Messthetics locally a couple years back. Perhaps they will return?

NYHC Chronicles, Thurston Moore interview posted yesterday on youtube. Like the random CBGB's ads printed in NYC Village Voice that Thurston provided at the beginning.

The Arcadians, pre-Sonic Youth, Moore & Kim Gordon band advertised in a 1981, CBGB's ad. Wow.
