Kraftwerk song played in latino style
Señor Coconut is awesome!
Also, Kraftwerk is one the most covered bands ever. .
^^ bigs on the Senor Coconut, for sure.
dj Swamp. I dig it.
amazing cover...

Fink - Resurgam
Breathtaking music. Hurts inside. Hospital lyrics. Beautiful renderings. He's great live. 02 Academy 2010.
^^ There's sooo many different ways to cover Kraftwerk! Nice. Bigs on The Slits there too
Xiu Xiu... is a treasure trove for demented solemnities.
I listened to this last night. I've heard other Sade chopped & screwed attempts in the past, this one hits the mark.
very good. 1. Love is Stronger than Pride 0:00 2. War Of the Hearts 05:33 3. Feel No Pain 14:22 4. Cherish the Day 20:01 5. No Ordinary Love 24:17 6. Bullet Proof Soul 30:52 7. Mermaid 36:43 8. Lovers Rock 41:41 9. Skin 46:49 10. By Your Side 51:17 11. Couldn't Love You More 56:55 12. Paradise 1:01:20 13. Maureen 1:05:09 14. Kiss of Life 1:10:14
OMG, the world doesn't need ANYMORE bloody Moby "Go" remixes ok?
enough already. um..I like these tho... I didn't plan for this thread to include Twin Peaks, Xiu Xiu, and now Moby "Go" to round out the Twin Peaks references, things just happen. heh. The Luigi Tozzi edit is a new, March 2018 release. The classic Jam & Spoon dub effort from 1992. And the time stretch thing, just heard browsing on youtube.
Moby - the great escape
I always thought the FYC version of Ever Fallen In Love was kinda shite compared to the original, even though they were a talented bunch that did some great stuff. Utterly lacked the energy of the original and felt lifeless and uninteresting.
Also, no love for Soft Cell's Tainted Love? Given that everyone covers the cover I find it odd not to have been mentioned yet. Especially the 12" version.
^^ "Tainted Love" is one of the greatest pop songs written, no doubt. Good call!
Wreck and Reference cover some tunes from Guided By Voices "Alien Lanes" on their new e.p. "Alien Pains" Reinterpretations. Robert Pollard's pop dissonance done rather demented. https://wreckandreference.bandcamp.com/
^^ same as it ever was, same as it ever was...
I'm not a Deftones fan. But The Cure & Cocteau Twins covers are rather great. Bigs.
Faultline feat. Bat For Lashes - Don't Stop
The Queen tune, "don't stop thinking about tomorrow, yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone" as opposed to "don't stop me now". Both good songs, but Natasha's voice is so icy sexy on this version. "In a different way". .
That Kermit Talking Heads cover is rather ace.
Wouldn't you agree, Kermit McBollockson?
of course I approve.
