Just got home, gotta go thru it bobule Wrote:Macc Wrote:Blunt Wrote:FOUR TET Rounds (Domino) kieran hebden is a genius.. just bought the original soundtrack to "assault on precint 13", by john carpenter on vinyl. its basically an entire album made up of one simple synththeme, underlined with the most basic of synthhihats, but when you saw the movie, its astounding what vibe he achieved to create with that little music.
just bought droppin' science 30 in a very unlikely place!
phokus Wrote:fanu Wrote:kc and the sunshine band - do it good fuck, not one! but, given the price, i.e., 99 cents, it is a very good purchase, there's very good music on it, i am glad i found it

that d-bridge tune on exit kotr 4 on 31 - bit underwhelmed actually... only one really nice tune, less varied than previous eps in the series... the digital album [saw it at a considerable discount in selecta and bought it on impulse without listening - not a single memorable tune on it.l...] some secondhand bits, dj ron on picasso, suv bragga funk ep, wu tang 36 chambers on cd.... cant remember much more
...it's like a bloody LIBRARY out there!!! http://twitter.com/executivesteve

i finally hunkered down the cash for the "Battle Of The Breaks" vinyl set.
I had ordered it when it first came out from Redeye but Tom sent me the pic disc 2 x 12" by accident. I did also receive the advance CD from the R a few months before release. Still...nothing beats the feeling of dropping the BLACK vinyl version. picture discs are way to hard to read. nice to look at, spin like crap and sound inferior. sumo Wrote:düffah Wrote:enforcers 5 slab box set. oh yes. getting there! esb Wrote:i finally hunkered down the cash for the "Battle Of The Breaks" vinyl set. But that double pack has She's Gone (Alpha Omega & Stretch mix) on it which is a tune and a half.
