yes!!!! made some of this recently too. sweet potato + paprika soup... had it in the fridge all week! yum.

stacks yer onto things - did you make the butter with real butter and real red chillies or did u use powder??!

yeah real red chillis chopped up finely in real butter. open up te baked spud and mash it all up together. Serve with a bit of sour cream and some parsley.

baxters canned stuff is decent enough. The covent garden stuff that you buy in packets is great too. Had some of their haddock chowder for lunch yesterday.

I will eat soup out of cartons , they dont have the metallic taste that occours in canned soup!

True ... what i do thou is cook a big batch of at least one fresh/homemade soup at the wkend & freeze it or heat seal it in jars .... then ya have it on tap Cool
