If you want to be reassured, try looking at some sources that don't increase their sales by over hyping the crisis. To date, radiation levels outside the plants haven't been high enough to cause a public health risk and the last thing that the IAEA said (yesterday) was that the situation was 'serious but reasonably stable'.

Of course this is true to an extent, yet more than 35 million people are immediately threatened and it is obvious that things can hardly be called "under control".
On a side note: the very same German government that stopped the nuclear phaseout a couple of months ago, just shut down 7 plants this week, because two important elections take place in 2 weeks. A couple of months ago this was officially announced to be absolutely impossible and cause severe energy shortage. Cunts.
