You'd be much better off to eat a good sized breakfast and lunch, exercise moderately after work, and then snack a little in the evening once you're done. And by snack I mean healthy snack...
Never starve your body
No offense, Lawrie, but I lost 15 kilos that way from January to April. Haven't gained a single kilo since then, although I admit I have to leave out lunch once a week still in order to not gain weight.
I was never very good at "moderately snacking", but I never felt fitter than I did in the last couple of months
