This is so amazing! Re-discovered it again due to one of DJ Extreme's 1994 Jungle mixes, before that i was more familiar with the original version She's So, which is not half as good as this imo. Too bad it wasn't on any CD compilation back in the day nor is available digitally nowadays, as I miss it in my collection.
Yes, i know, 12" is quite cheap on discogs, but don't have suitable device to play it anymore
Skeptical - Bad Acid
Heard this on the Alix Perez Rinse FM show this Wednesday, and was captivated. It's all squelchy 909 drum machine gurgles meets Acid House bass synths. Stray played a great guest mix too (that's on his SoundCloud).
Listening to one of my old mixes this morning and this is one of the tunes on it. One of the finest ever from Goldie & completely underrated imo.
"For any fans of Goldie who are interested, this is a tribute to the Brazilian singer and songwriter Chico Science, frontman of Chico Science & Nação Zumbi, who revolutionised Brazilian music with their two 90s albums (Da Lama Ao Caos - 1994 and Afrociberdelia - 1996) - he died in 1997".
yeah, good tune

Yeah, love this, still play it from time to time and it always surprises me that alot of people don't know it.
Interesting triva there too NoodeL, his tracks always seem to be dedicated to some person, place or time.

This has been a huge personal favourite of mine ever since I first heard Fabio play it on a Edge mixtape from '95.

Thanks Fluid Radio for the Twitter tip!
Came across some new stuff from Skalpel, been playing this several times today.
Hope their new album is eventually in the pipeline, as this tune is huge.
That was pretty amazing, didn't know they would have that kind of vocal range.
