IME if you're bored it's because you aren't being challenged/challenging yourself/working hard enough (all the same thing in this case, if you get me). Jogging is faaaaaakin boring... do 4x400m as fast as you can with only one minute rest in between laps. Or 100 burpees as fast as possible. You won't have the time or the energy for boredom, you'll be too busy keeping your lungs in Plus it takes a fraction of the time. 100 miles a week is pretty tidy though, so Quote:My chasis is far to rigid and I havent been oiled in years. In breaking news, I just managed 4x4 handstand pushups Been stuck on 3 for aaaages, and suddenly I've caned it. Wooohooo nice. seeing progress is interesting. usually don't notice it day to day but then step back and realize you're doing something that wasn't possible a few weeks earlier Macc Wrote:
Ive been swimming all the time.
Also do mad core exercises in pool, have this hot Brazilian chick instructor who does core exercises, even though the class is called water aerobics! Been doing qigong and tai chi as much as possible, which is my favorite. Walk all the time. Gonna go more regularly to pilates, as it gets your core nice too. Definately need to get in the gym more for doing light weights though. Hehe, Im gonna be super super fit soon!
Gone up a gear here. Bought another book by that Ross Enamait chap, with more of a focus on dumbells (still lots of body weight stuff too though). Got dumbells, have made a 40kg sandbag, all that.
Most odd is that I am starting to really enjoy the conditioning exercises, even though they REALLY REALLY HURT. Just did Integrated Circuit Training #6; 100 rope turns as fast as possible 10 plyometric (clap) pushups 15 medicine ball slams 20 lateral jumps over the med ball repeat x8, with as little rest as possible. Did it in 17:37 and feel totally [???] now. Amazing? Buzzing? Wiped out? No idea. Proper mad high business Don Cherry Wrote:Every human is blessed in her or his life with one love (passion), no matter how long it may last.
