Yorkie-The daddy of choco bars?

22 Replies, 3875 Views

recently got into those yorkies with nuts & raisins in.

fuck me,it's easily the best bar of chocolate out there!

can't be touched, not even by the likes of chunky kit kat or drifter Icon_eek

& if your on a budget,go to tesco & check out their brand of chocolate bars.

their version of wholenut comes very close to beating cadbury's classic genre defining bar Yes

man, what would the world b like without chocolate?

& according to certain scientists it's actually good for ya.

have been getting all nostalgic recently with the limited reintroduction of texan bars Falcon
agree with Macc about the chocolate, very inferior to Dairy Milk or Galaxy

Raisen & biscuit ones are still worth a munch though
Raisin & Biscuit that's the one!

Absolutely gorgeous stuff Homerdrool

The only thing is after a bar you need to drink copius amounts of water from the overload of sugar in the freaking tings!

And another thing while we're on the topic.

What's with wafer bars?

Anything with wafer in is damned disgusting!!!!

especially those pink wafer crappy things.

i can actually contribute to the snax thread and say i totally agree..

when the lorry driver was the advert, that was when they were good.....
One of the best experiences of my entire school life was when my whole class had to - HAD TO - spend a two hour lesson trying out several different recipes of Lion bars and filling in questionnaires about which was best.

Hyper

B was the best, no question Homerdrool

So there you are, you have me to thank for the high quality of Lion bars Teef

And speaking of chocolates.

What about Munchies?

Are they not the most under-rated chocolate snack in the world today?

The only thing is there ain't enought to last you a full day in the studio Icon_evil

I agree with AO.......

YORKIE BARS......ARE KING!!!!! Lovesmilie
Just the normal milk choc is my fav, i dont think they taste rubbery at all.......
Also rather partial to an Caramel Aero or three........ Wink

IMO it is cadbury chocolate that tastes rubbery......thinking about a bar of dairy milk even gives me that rubbery "taste"............. Icon_cry

Has anyone tried Lindt chocolate .......very nice!!!! they do an excellent milk chocalate bar with soft choclate filling...which is rather addictive!!

also Green and Black's White chcoclate is rather tasty...........
Yorkie bars are shit!!!

They used to be absolute selector bwoy 5 years ago, then they went budget Neutral

To be honest, it's all about doubling up on the Flake or Ripples.

Plain 200g bar of Galaxy is good too.

Mint Aero.. oh my good lord. What a choccy bar. A minty green choccy bar.

Time Out's used to be good too, then they had a recipe change. Silly.
