Mc conrad?
Aye, thats the one. gets under my skin, wish it never came out, it completely ruined an already lackluster label for me. im probably one of the biggest GLR heads out there and respect Conrad as one of my fav mcs but that release is kack. id rather stab screwdrivers in my ears than have to listen to that blasted tune.
yeah, that track was really shit but for me that whole jump up thing can be removed from dnb history.

Controversy - excellent!
I think that fackin' Cher song should be removed from history and every single auto-tuned pile of doggy doo doo that has been produced since that
LTJ Bukem - Music/Enchanted, remove the entire plate
always hated this release - I hate the samples, hate the beats, hate that ice cream van music box, hate the underwater bubble samples, hate the vocal bits...
Pulp Fiction - good call, reminds me of a trip to the dentist
and most of the Aphrodite back catalogue
those first, and then we'll get to the Pendulum/Dillinja&LemonD/Fresh/TC circle of hell

You lot are mad.
i'd remove seba - 'so long'
then i could make it
Would you still call it 'so long' ????

I was thinking the same thing
almost made me want to troll the place with my every jungle dnb tune made after 94 is absolute cack line :teeth:
Old School Like ILEA
I've a hard job trying to think of something now - guess I don't listen to stuff I don't like
I'd remove whigfield Saturday night from existence in less than a heartbeat though

Well, even the worst track is part (or was) of the "scene". I always looked at it as a whole. Every tune has its place there, even if I don't like it. Some of the mentioned tunes I quite like(d), like The Nine or Body Rock. I happen to own those even
The only DnB track I really hate, however, is Warhead. That one really sucks donkey cock, although generally I used to be a Krust fan.

Nice thread bump Totally forgot about this one
Pieter's rant about Imagine makes me happy
Lol at this thread
The track I'd erase from dnb history is "Music Is Everything" by High Contrast. I can't understand why it became so popular (many people seem to love it to this day). For me it's a track with some randomly thrown in samples with badly used vocal (heard before in many great old school tracks) - all these elements give result which totally doesn't appeal to me.
However "Global Love" from the same album was awesome.
I really liked Return to Forever and the Klute remix is the shit. I would probably remove Mampi Swift - The one for being boring.
Maybe the Hatiras "Spaced Invador" remix craze weren't that great in retrospect. Some elements were ok, but the forumla was a bit meh after a couple copy cat tunes after all that.
^^ I do like "Music is Everything" btw. I was down.
Not a track per se, but Skibba's barking was always worth public execution, imo. the Skibba version of "Twist em Out"
any skibba version was a guaranteed find the 2nd room now moment for me.
^^ One of Skibba's lines from his "Twist em Out" version was ... "big time celebrity" lol
Pendulum - Tarantula
see.. i was a big ragga jungle fan to various degrees, so, some things fly, some things don't. "Tarantula" was not it. sorry. not cool.
yeah I love ragga jungle particularly the harder American stuff and the homegrown SU Corporation sound. Some of those watered down pseudo-Breakage 2005 tracks should be in the sea though.
I like Zinc generally, Tru Playaz generally in places & eras.
Some of Zinc's tunes got played out pretty fast, not his fault tho. "Casino Royale"... even "Ska" for example. I prefer Zinc's breakstep tunes from that time, rather than his dnb hits that got caned to death. I never saw the hype in "Casino Royale", as musical as it is. meh.
I've got good memories of the summer of 2001 with that tune so can't dislike it really.
Looking back, "Warhead" had a good aspect tho anyways. In the second half of 1997, EVERY dj used to drop it but then, this was usually the signal to get myself to the toilet
I'd remove one aspect of Jungle/DnB tho , no single track: It's the MCs ..... I never taped or DL a set were the MC was too prominent, in fact almost noe of my fav mixes got an MC on it.

The devil brought in Auto-Tune to destroy the music scene - and he kinda succeeded
