Bit of a late one here, as it's been out a couple of days. Also available from Digital Tunes & Chemical, links to follow.
Uncertified Music present to you their fourth release, bringing two tunes from exciting producers whose names will no doubt become more synonymous with quality drum and bass as time passes.
Eschaton - There Is No Empty Space
pronounced Esk-ah-ton, is fast becoming a very prolific artist around the deeper atmospheric side of d&b. There Is No Empty Space stays close to his roots with a tune that harks heavily back to the Good Looking golden era. Deep rolling bass, those lovely breaks, with a sliced segment of amen and soundscape pads that create an emotive existence and suck you deep into their grasp. But don't go thinking that this is one for the snore-worthy, the tune digs deep into its reserves to kick you hard as well as soothe.
CJ Weaver - Saint
Saint brings you a minimal intro which will lull you into a false sense of security but don't be fooled: what lies beneath is a bubbling cauldron of slap in the face beats and breaks with a nice twist (more amens anyone?) coming late on. Deep brooding bass sits beneath, enough sub to make your bins flap. An excellent dancefloor DJ tool but equally nice as a listening tune.
